Censor literature

The discussion we had in class today about censoring literature was an important topic. I had the same conversation in my humanties class last week. I feel that we should be able to read whatever we want to read and teachers should be able to teach what they want and how they want. A book about rape is not considered porn, I believe that people are getting the sense that this might promote sex and violence because some say school influences bad behavior. Not all parents are going to talk to thier kids about rape and how to deal with it. The school i attended didnt even have a health class to educate us on topics related to this. The choice of literature should be left up to teachers and parents and the government shouldnt have a say in what not to teach.

Essay 2

I have to admit, when I first started my essay I was so confused. I had absolutely no idea how I was suppose to evaluate my topic because it was very broad. When I attempted to research on cosmetics I couldnt find anything about the ingredients and how it affected your skin. Then I decided to research birth control because I would then be able to narrow it down to only two types. The types of birth control I'm evaluating are the birth control pill and the Depo, which is the shot. I have found a numerous amount of information about the effects of birth control and how it can increase types of cancer and diseases

For the past few weeks I have been procrastinating on creating my blog. I just wonder how many people have created their blog and how many need to. Hopefully there is someone that still hasn't done thiers because it wil make me feel so much better.
